Research Agency as a program Operator of the Business Development, Innovation and SMEs Programme has launched the Call for proposals for Bilateral Initiatives under the Education Component (BIN BF02) under Fund for Bilateral Relations with total allocation of €50,000. The aim of the Call is to set-up a flexible and easy tool for searching of donor project partners (Measure A - Donor Project Partner search) for calls within the educational component and further strengthening of partnerships between the entities from the Donor states (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and Slovakia (Measure B – Small scale bilateral initiatives) within the educational component. All initiatives within this Call can be implemented both, in person and online.
Maximun grant:
Within the Call for bilateral initiatives it is possible to apply for a
- maximum grant of up to €3,000 under Measure A – Donor project partner search
- maximum grant of up to €10,000 under Measure B – Small scale bilateral initiatives.
Date of call closure:
- Grant Application submission deadline for Measure A - Donor project partner search is 30 days prior to the date closure of the calls BIN SGS02 and/or BIN SGS03, or until the total allocation is used.
- Applications under Measure B - Small scale bilateral initiatives will be supported till 31 December 2023 or until the total allocation is used.

Research Agency as a Program Operator of the Business Development, Innovation and SMEs programme has launched the Call for Proposals for Institutional cooperation between Higher education institutions, Upper-secondary schools and private sector (call code: BIN SGS02) financed by the Norway Grants and state budget of the Slovak Republic.
The objective of this Call is to strengthen institutional cooperation between universities, upper-secondary schools and enterprises in Slovakia and Norway to enhance both the quality and relevance of education and training in Slovakia, mainly in the focus areas of Green Industry Innovation and Welfare and Ambient Assisted Living technologies.
Projects at upper-secondary level can target Vocational education and training (VET) development and/or bridging the gap between the education system and labor market needs. Projects at higher education level can focus on building more intensive cooperation between SMEs/enterprises and educational institutions and support to career development of researchers.
Projects are expected to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Slovakia and Norway on an institutional level.
Grant amount: from 10,000 € up to 200,000 €
Allocation of the Call: 2 470 588 €
Date of Call closure: 28 February 2022.
